Eighth Annual Leadership 500 Summit

NAACP

Generations of strong leaders have taken us to where we are today. But who will take over this mantle tomorrow?

The NAACP knows that we must pass the baton of leadership to the next generation. That's why they are hosting the Eighth Annual Leadership 500 Summit this May to develop tomorrow's leaders in the boardroom, in the community, and in political office.

Leadership 500 is your chance to carry our proud legacy into the future. Just click here to find out how you can become one of our nation's great leaders:

The Leadership 500 Summit will be held May 24 - 27, 2012, at the Sandestin Family Resort in Destin, Florida. It's no coincidence that the conference falls on Memorial Day. As the NAACP honors those who have fought for freedom and equality, we must also come together to protect and build upon their legacy.

For two and a half days, emerging leaders will engage in thought-provoking, interactive discussions led by prominent private sector, nonprofit, corporate, faith, and community leaders. Leadership 500 represents an unparalleled opportunity to meet and network with other professionals who, like you, care about creating social change.

The NAACP firmly believes that we can never win the battle for justice, equality, and freedom if we work alone. So I hope you see this conference as an opportunity to connect and collaborate with today's leaders in preparation for the future.

I hope you will join us this year in Florida as we continue the ambitious legacy of the NAACP: building generations of power.

The future is calling, and with your help, the NAACP will answer!
